The Great Hall is a fabulous space for entertaining; it spans the entire width of the castle and is traditionally furnished. An expansive inglenook fireplace creates a focal point for your evening events or just relaxing during the day with a good book. This hall is where you and your guests will gather to relax, entertain, watch films, dance along to Ceilidh’s, drink whiskey, light fires and read. All dinners eaten at the 16-seater dining table will be grand affairs, take your after-dinner whiskey and relax into the soft large Ralph Lauren sofas and chairs upholstered in the finest goatskin leather. Cooking will be an absolute pleasure in the fully fitted Chalon kitchen, a large range cooker, dishwasher and a wide range of Le Creuset cooking equipment and crockery ensures you have the means to make anything you wish! In the adjacent vaulted space, there is a large refectory table – a perfect place to get together for breakfast and finalise your plans for the day. There are seven stunning bedrooms to choose from – all are furnished in a cosy traditional style and most have four-poster beds. The master suite is fit for a king and queen. It is an expansive and grand room with a king size four-poster bed and walls that are upholstered in British wool by De le Cuona. It has its own turret, a large sofa, and an open plan bathroom with roll top tub, you absolutely won’t forget that you’re in a castle when you stay in this bedroom!
